LeTriple Basic frequently asked questions

Find answers to questions about our entry-level model.

Could the LeTriple Basic suit my needs?

This type of chair is intended for people who retain some movement in their legs but need support to move around. This may include older people with reduced leg strength and people who have had a stroke or who have multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy or Parkinson’s disease. A chair can also provide seated support at work. Discuss your individual needs with your doctor and check whether the Basic model’s available options are sufficient.

How does the Basic model differ from the LeTriple and LeTriple Wheels?

The LeTriple Basic has fewer adaptation options than the LeTriple. The LeTriple offers an M-shaped base for greater legroom and a maximum user weight of 135 kg.

The LeTriple Wheels combines foot propulsion with the option of propelling the chair by hand.

All three models include electric height adjustment, a brake and an ergonomic seat.

What safety features does the LeTriple Basic have?

A brake operated by an easy-to-reach lever helps keep the chair stationary during tasks such as transfers. Fold-up armrests provide more room to move. Electric height adjustment helps you set the seat for different activities and reach higher items.

What can I use the Basic model's height adjustment for?

The 30 cm adjustment range lets you set an ergonomic sitting height for work surfaces and other activities. It can also help you reach higher cupboards, bring the seat level with a bed for transfers, or raise the seat to a suitable height for standing up.
